The WND article says that Daniel is comatose, but I think this was an unfortunate rumor. According to Daniel's sister Amanda, via Naomi Ragen:
... he has definitely not taken a turn for the worse and is not in a coma. As you are aware, an ICU patient is in critical condition and may have ups and downs. Thus, I hesitate to provide any detailed medical updates, as it is always changing. Please keep praying and promote positive thoughts for Daniel.
The One Family Fund has updates on Daniel and other wounded victims of the Passover/Tel Aviv bombing... like 26-year-old Lior:
Lior was married just two weeks ago to Maya. He is in Intensive Care. He was wounded in the chest and lungs, sustained fractures to his legs and arms, and injuries to his internal organs. He lives in Holon and works as a truck driver. His wife worked at a store next to the shawarma stand and he had come to visit her to take her out for lunch. They currently are living hand-to-mouth and need immediate assistance.
I can't find words to respond to what the terrorists said. So just please donate to the One Family Fund and or to the Daniel Wultz Gemilas Chessed Fund. And pray... like someone's life depends on it.
