Annapolis [Gang Rape] Continues Today in Paris

Carl in Jerusalem often refers to the "peace" conference in Annapolis as a gang rape. It's not funny in the least, and it's more true every day. Today, as I write this, many of the world's powers meet in Paris to pay tribute -both political and monetary- to the Palestinian Arabs.

Even as Palestinians are trying their best to kill Jews in Israel, the world is giving them BILLIONS... in the same manner as anything and everything is given to the Palestinians: in exchange for absolutely nothing.

While Israel is criticized worldwide for building a measly 300 apartments at Har Homa in southern Jerusalem, the Americans have planned, and the Saudis are going build, a $200 million city for Arabs, in the cradle of Jewish civilization.

According to DEBKA, the plan is to locate Condi-Saudi City 20 km. south of Nablus and 35 km. north of Ramallah.

... the new town site will encompass the Palestinian villages of Qabalan, Oseria and Qudela and straddle Trans-Samaria Highway 505 opposite Tapuach junction.

The US planners intend the new town to provide territorial contiguity between Nablus and Ramallah. At the same time, it will cut off Israeli villages in the Jordan Valley from the settlement blocs in Samaria.

Boker tov, boys and girls. The "West Bank" is no longer "disputed territory." The Israeli government has conceded it to the Arabs, if not formally, then certainly by acquiescing to international consensus led by Condoleezza Rice.

The only people who have the clarity and the nerve to fight to retain Jewish control of Judea and Samaria are the demonized "settlers" and their "hilltop youth." And literally the whole world is arrayed against them, including their own government and many, if not most, of their countrymen.

I've been posting "mistaken" maps on this blog for years, maps that show "Palestine" where Israel is, and beyond. Turns out they were right; I was the one who was mistaken. It seems only a matter of time now.

You think I'm overreacting? That such a scenario is too pessimistic to be possible? Let me tell you something. Two and a half years ago, I posted an excerpt from David Meir-Levi's answer to the question, Does Israel have a right to exist? He wrote:

In my opinion, Israel has no right to exist. And that is because, in reality, no country in the world and throughout all of history has a right to exist. No country in the world exists today by virtue of its 'right'. All countries exist today by virtue of their ability to defend themselves against those who seek their destruction.

When I read that in 2005, I thought it very true and it gave me great confidence in the security of Israel's existence. When I read it now I still think it's very true, but my heart sinks.

Four months after Meir-Levi's article was published, Israel expelled all Jewish life from the Gaza strip and gave the territory to the Palestinians. The Palestinians elected Hamas, and now blood-thirsty terrorists attack Israeli women and children with rockets launched from the ashes of torched synagogues.

At this very moment, Israel is being auctioned off in Paris. Over $2 billion has already been bid and bidding is expected to top
$5 billion by the end of the day.

Before the conference even began, the United States had pledged $555 million, the European Union $650 million, and Germany and Great Britain together - $780 million. Japan then stepped in with another $150 million. Delegates from 70 countries and 20 global organizations are present at the Paris conference.

... many of the speakers are expected to pressure Israel to remove checkpoints from Palestinian Authority roads.

Israel ethnically cleanses territory so it can be given to the Palestinians Jew-free in exchange for nothing, and the world immediately forgets. Israel refuses to protect her own citizens, leaving Jewish families just sitting ducks for death in their own houses and schools, and the world doesn't even care to know. Israel releases hundreds of convicted Palestinian terrorists on the promise that they will never do it again, whatever it was, and the world sheds tears at their reunions with their families. And now we will see Israel disssolve checkpoints so that mass murderers won't have to wait in line to enter Israeli cities and blow themselves up at restaurants and malls, if they so desire.

Meanwhile Palestinian Arabs, even those with Israeli citizenship, do not let up in their terror war of conquest and destruction, their "rhetoric of annihilation and the diatribe of genocide." They deny both our history - from the Temples in Jerusalem to our near-extermination in Europe - and our present Jewish sovereignty in what used to be called the Holy Land. And for doing absolutely nothing else but that, the world is anxious to heap upon them billions of dollars and euros and marks and pounds, not to mention the weaponry, power and a mantle of legitimacy to match. These maximal Jew-haters will even get a spanking new metropolis handed to them on an American/Saudi silver platter, from which they can further seek to quench their thirst for Jewish blood.

If Arafat were alive today, he would be so proud. He may not have lived long enough to see a million martyrs marching into Jerusalem, but even so, his dreams are coming true.

I grew up believing - from the outside looking in - that the survival of Israel (and thereby, that of the Jewish people) was a moral imperative. Then I became a Jew myself. And shortly thereafter I began to see - from the inside looking out - that not everyone shared my belief, not even all Jews.

The truth about Israel's existence is that moral imperatives come and go, Israel has no inherent right to exist, and everything depends - as Meir-Levi said - upon her ability to defend herself.

It's a lot harder to defend yourself after you've been gang-raped. And so the lion of Judah does not roar; we hear not even a plaintive mew as the Palestinians are crowned in Paris, the world's new Chosen People.

I never thought I would see such a thing in my lifetime.
