poorpalestinian CHUTZPAH: taking U.S. for a ride

The poorpalestinians are enough to drive a sane person to distraction, even the most calm and reasonable among us. Witness Rick's rant this morning:

What do you call a political body that has used its money for terrorism and then pleads it cannot pay damages to those it has harmed because it needs the money?

I suggest printing out his post in full, signing with your own personal message and mailing to President Bush, Secretary Rice, The Justice Department and the American law firm representing the Palestinian Authority in the relevant action.

You may also want to contact your representatives in Congress to express your thoughts about their recent appropriation of $218 million to the Palestinian Authority.

Who knew?

The United States pledged a total of $555 million to Abu Mazen in December in Paris, which means Congress has yet to appropriate the remaining $337 million. Maybe we can at least stop that, but not if we don't try.

Finally, here's a little inspiration for you:

What you create is yours ONLY IF you can defend yourself from those who want to destroy you. And how is Israel supposed to defend herself against Palestinian Arab terrorists with the United States funding those terrorists to the tune of hundreds of millions of [our taxpayer] dollars?

And don't tell me that Abu Mazen's Fatah is somehow distinguishable from Hamas; they're playing good cop / bad cop with us and we are blind idiots if we fall for it. You think Arafat never heard of Mao's (1930) 'war of the flea'?

Divide our forces to arouse the masses,
concentrate our forces to deal with the enemy.

What do you call a political body who has (at last count) approximately 80,000 “security forces,” whose training was overseen by a U.S. general and his staff for more than two years, and who could not hold on to Gaza for more than a week against Palestinian terrorists, but who thinks it should be given the right to try again in the West Bank?

Rick says "You call it the Palestinian Authority."

I would be less generous. I would call it an infestation of fleas.
