Obama's outrageous message to the Mayor of Ramallah
Arlene Kushner writes:
... there's more in the [Ben] Caspi article [Maariv - Hebrew only], and I ask all Americans to pay special attention here:"In the meantime it turns out that one of the two presidential candidates, who visited Israel sent emissaries and special messages to president Al Assad in Damascus and Abu Mazen [Abbas] in Ramallah, with an interesting message: continue the negotiations with Israel, any progress is welcome, I want to jump into the conflict immediately upon my entry onto the position and the more advanced the negotiations are the better."
That presidential candidate was Obama, clearly, and this constitutes a sort of meddling that is outrageous.
This and lots more at Arlene from Israel.
My commentary on this and the rest of it [including Bad News of Olmert & Jerusalem] will have to wait. We have a lot of happy comings and goings happening on the home front that cannot (and shouldn't) be ignored.
See also at Israel Matzav: Livni arranged Israeli citizenship for the daughter of the palestinians' "chief negotiator," Ahmed Qurei ~ Abu Ala. (Here he is with the Dead Terrorist; I wish they were still holding hands to this day.)
Carl concludes that "Livni is an existential danger to the State of Israel." And she's not the only one. IMHO, Obama seems only too anxious to join the club. Or should I say, the piece process.
Oh yeah, and Israel is releasing two hundred MORE palestinian convicts and terrorists.
You think I'm going to scream and yell? How many times have they done this? How many times have we documented the further terrorist acts of those released? How many times have we recognized this as absolute suicidal insanity? The release of Kuntar dented my spirit, I must say. I can't bother screaming and yelling about this next one. It's like watching Jews walk into the sea, without even being pushed. It's unfathomably horrific, but it happens all the time.
