The Despicable J-Street PAC

J-Street claims to be the sabotage component of the military wing of the "political arm" of something called a "pro-Israel, pro-peace movement." In other words, they constitute an army of Walt/Mearsheimer-ite emailers who favor Israel's slow and steady political disintegration over the more direct approach of Ahmadinejad.

Among the many Democrats[Only] whom J-Street endorses (including Muslim Rep. Keith Ellison), is one Steve Cohen of Tennessee's 9th District.

"Elected in 2006, Cohen has already distinguished himself as a fresh new voice on Capitol Hill and the type of pro-Israel voice JStreetPAC is proud to support. A staunch opponent of the war in Iraq, he has championed other JStreetPAC priorities including increased US assistance to the Palestinian authority..."

You tell me if this sounds like "a fresh new voice" to you:

It appears U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen reads Politico.com. In the above video, in which Cohen—yeah, that Steve Cohen—compares Barack Obama to Jesus and vice-president hopeful Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate.

Watch the video and tell me his statement doesn’t sound a lot like this comment from Jonathan Martin’s blog: “Mrs. Palin needs to be reminded that Jesus Christ was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

I don't suppose it would do any good to point out the number (37%) of American presidents who were also governors, some even from Cohen's state of Tennessee.

Thank Gd, the drumbeat of the left has yet to erase all of American history. I implore you to read something about each of these men, even if it's only Wikipedia. Get an idea of their various presidencies, what they encountered and how they performed. And then think very seriously -in that larger context- about J-Street and the army of 20,000+ emailers that they control. And I do mean control; every one of their 20,188 emails to the rally organizers said exactly the same thing, word for word. J-Street's words.

I beg you to ponder the concerted and malevolent effort they organized to censor the 11th Governor of Alaska. And consider... their "success."

J-Street is despicable in every way. It's relevant, though hardly shocking, to note - in light of their "victory" of preventing Sarah Palin from speaking at Monday's rally- that their invitation to an initial "hush-hush fundraiser" (prior to their public launch in April) claimed their intention was to become

"... the first and only lobby and PAC (political action committee) dedicated to ensuring Israel’s security, changing the direction of American policy in the Middle East and opening up American political debate about Israel and the Middle East.”

These hypocrites, liars and political saboteurs have the audacity to claim to represent the views of the "American Jewish community."

Not mine, oh Lord. Not me.

At least through the efforts of J Street we know who to be wary of, who believes the Arab governments and the Palestinians want peace and not the destruction of Israel. They tell us which candidates they endorse and who their supporters are. The people who learn nothing from history, the people who are blind and deaf to what the Palestinians actually do and say.
