Where's Ahmadinejad?
Wasn't he at the United Nations yesterday? Yeah, I'm sure he was. Flapsblog has a photo from the New York Post.

Isn’t this the guy that Barack Obama said he would meet unconditionally?
Yeah it was.

So where is Ahmadinejad today?
Well, I can tell you where he's NOT. He's not on the front page of today's New York Times.
And he's not in the "International Section"

And - too bad - he's not in the Obituaries.
And he's not in the editorial about Mayor Bloomberg's "reasonable" immediate 7% real estate tax increase.
And he's not in the editorial about protecting wolves.
And he's not in the editorial about Congressional response to the bailout plan.
And he's not in the editorial about helping the world's poor
Speaking to the United Nations this week, the secretary general, Ban Ki-moon, warned that the world is facing a “development crisis,” and he expressed his fear that wealthy nations would now fall even further behind in their commitments. We share that fear.
I finally had to use the search tool. Hallelujah, I found him! There are three mentions of Ahmadinejad in today's paper. Well, sort of.
Whaddaya know, he was hiding in a front page article all the time, Upheaval on Wall St. Stirs Anger in the U.N. where he is mentioned once in the 11th paragraph in the continuation on who-knows-what-page:
The General Assembly has long served as a handy megaphone for American foes like Fidel Castro of Cuba or President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran — who this year delivered his standard diatribe against the evils of America and Zionism.
And he's in a comment at something called the Opinionator blog, but that comment was actually from yesterday. And I guess the third mention doesn't really count either, as it's in a list of "popular tags" (where Jay Leno tops the list, followed by David Letterman and then Conan O'Brien).
Do you believe this? It's a freakin' rerun of the 1930s.
