I am no religious virtuoso and it's not for me to say, but when I heard that Obama's teleprompter went crashing to the ground at his next event yesterday afternoon, it did occur to me that Hashem might have been warning The Great Obama - and indeed, all of us - with this small taste of Kristallnacht, and of destruction in general.

At any rate, there is no mistaking that we are in The Three Weeks, heading toward the devastation of Tisha b'Av. Even if you have never prayed to your Creator before, now would be a good time to start.
