Day of Mourning for Massacre at Fort Hood

According to Atlas Shrugs, here's what we know about the latest in a series of Muslim mass murderers:

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is a U.S. Citizen whose parents are "palestinians" from the "West Bank" according to the Washington Post.

He wrote Allah on his door, according to a neighbor, in Arabic. Allah on the door.

Hasan was put on probation early in his postgraduate work at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He was disciplined for proselytizing about his Muslim faith with patients and colleagues, according to the source, who worked with him at the time. NPR

Federal law enforcement officials say the suspected Fort Hood, Texas, shooter had come to their attention at least six months ago because of internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats.  The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case.

One of the Web postings that authorities reviewed is a blog that equates suicide bombers with a soldier throwing hiimself on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades.  (more here)

He was happy about the Muslim solider who shot and killed a soldier and wounded another at a Little Rock Military recruiting station. Hasan said Muslims should rise up against the aggressors. Maybe we shold have more of these.... strapping bombs on and going into Times Square."

The officials had access to Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's military record.  They said he received a poor performance evaluation while at Walter Reed....

 

 

One of the comments points out the irony that for someone who didn't want to go to war, he sure had nothing against killing people.  Unfortunately, the obvious answer is that the military deployment he so dreaded would have positioned Hassan against his fellow Muslims, so he decided to take on his real enemy... us. Americans. infidels.

 

There's nothing new about that.

 

 

 

I would add one politically incorrect aspect to the discussion. 

 

Husein, Hussein, Hussain, Husain

(Arabic: حسین Ḥussayn)

an Arabic name which is the diminutive of Hassan

meaning "good" or "handsome" or "beautiful"

 

Saddam Hussein, Nidal Malik Hassan, Barack Hussein Obama. Same name, same family.  I'm not making this up out of thin air... Saddam and Barack are the examples given at Wikipedia.  When and if they update, they could very well add the former Major (at least I assume he no longer carries rank).  

 

 

 

How we could have elected this man president in the middle of a war against his people (okay, benefit of the doubt, his father's people), I will never understand.

I can only speak for myself, but as someone deeply affected by the economy, someone who has no health insurance and may not make the mortgage payment this month, when it comes to the sacred sovereignty of this country, the behavior of the President is of tremendous, overarching concern to me.

We took a look at the video, and it does appear that the president actually bowed to King Abdullah. Did he bow or didn't he?
