It is a disservice to call the Fort Hood killings terrorism. Isn't it about time we called 9/11 and Fort Hood what they really are: Mainstream Islamic performance of the Jihadi precept. There is no such thing as radical Islam or fundamentalist Islam - there is only one Islam and it is the Islam of the Quran which advocates Jihad of the infidel. Just like there are observant Jews and non-observant Jews (who legitimize their failure to practice authentic Judaism by attaching labels to their truncated Judaism), if we label those events terrorism we mask the fact that Islam is seditious by its very nature and should be excluded from the protections of the First Amendment, and that it is Muslims who don't practice their religion who are safe (until they are born again), and the practicing Muslim who is a constant threat, not because of potential terrorism (whatever that overused canard means) but because he hasn't yet performed his Jihadist obligations. When will we wake up?

Allan, I agree with and appreciate your basic argument, but it's so far ahead of mainstream thinking that you're going to have a very hard time getting many people to listen. Thank you for writing.
