A: Well, for starters, 78 percent of Jews voted for Obama.
Now fast forward to today's New York Times:
.... For his part, Mr. Netanyahu accused the Palestinians of using settlements as a pretext to avoid negotiations.
“We think we should sit around that negotiating table right away,” he said. “I think what we should do on the path to peace is to simply is get on it, and get with it.”
The [Obama] administration’s efforts to revive peace negotiations have been unsuccessful, largely for reasons having to do both with its own ambitious goals and with unfavorable regional politics.
While the slimes at The Times would never admit that it's their beloved poorpalestinian Arabs who are the Obstacle to Peace (despite considerable 'stimulus' to the contrary), Aljazeera is not afraid. Their headline is straightforward: Abbas refuses to resume peace talks.
Nor will you ever find it mentioned in the pages of The Times that negotiations were ongoing during the Bush presidency.
It no longer matters what we thought of the particulars of that "peace process," only that there was one. And now there is none.
George Bush may have been the best friend a "palestinian state" could ever hope to have in the White House. How's that for "social justice"?
