The Trig-mocking goons as well as all the other Lefties in the pictures are perfect examples of those people -- who are, I'd guess, a huge part of today's Democratic party -- who love humanity in the abstract but hate real, embodied human beings. Back in my own left-wing days, I met and worked with many of them; they're one of the major reasons I moved right. They were repugnant then and they're repugnant now. Anyone who would ridicule, make fun of, or jeer at a Down Syndrome child -- and grin from ear to ear while doing it -- isn't fully human. Sad to say, we live in a world where a great many people aren't fully human. I've never been surprised that there are so many depraved people among us, but I'm always surprised at their eagerness to show off their depravity.
