Dear Ones,
BtB will be closed for a few days. The Husband and I are off to be with our Youngest as she graduates high school. She has accomplished much, and has given us more nachas than we deserve.
She plans to spend next year learning in Israel. Having been accepted into a wonderful program, she deferred her college plans and is more than determined to return to the Jewish homeland for a full year. She is a beautiful and talented young religious Zionist, fully secure in her Jewish identity and deeply attached to Eretz Yisrael.
To help finance this endeavor - indeed, to make it possible - she is selling this photograph that she took in Jerusalem last year, by the kotel. It's been shown in galleries and even won a very special Student Prize in a juried competition.
Of course, any photos sold will not have any of these watermarks seen here:)
By purchasing one of these photographs, you can take part in the mitzvah of helping a young Jew realize her dream of getting to Israel, of living and learning in the land that was promised to her, and to us. Not only will you be contributing to Jewish education and a future that will affect generations, but you will have this beautiful reminder of Jerusalem to enjoy for years to come -- as well as our abiding gratitude. Please email me at annelieberman@yahoo.com if interested.
Good Shabbes to you all. I'll see you back here on Wednesday, if not sooner.
-- Yael
p.s. Read our friend Mark Helprin in the WSJ, as we bless the memory of all those who have sacrificed their lives to protect and defend us and all that is good and right in America and in the world.
