When you vote in your local PRIMARY, you need to decide who you want for your FIRST choice, and also for your SECOND choice (just in case you discover--when you are in the voting booth--that your guy is no longer on the ballot). Find out when the vote will take place in your area. MAKE UP YOUR MIND on who your top two choices will be, about FIVE OR SIX DAYS BEFORE the actual vote. (Last minute decisions are much more likely to be based on either panic or emotion, which is exactly, exactly, what the final few days of advertisements will target--your fears, your anger, your hatred, or whatever. We need everyone's mind to be fully engaged in his decision making process--we don't need another round of brain-dead fools like we had in 2008: that's how we got McCain, then obama). Then, beginning FIVE OR SIX DAYS *BEFORE* the actual vote (by this time you've already decided), TURN NOT YOUR HEAD, NEITHER TO THE RIGHT HAND, NOR TO THE LEFT, but vote for them who you had previously selected days before. If your first choice is not on the ballot, then vote for your second choice. Choose well--it is possible that this might be the last (meaningful) presidential primary vote in the United States--ever.

Now, here's something from the "Nobody asked you" department: I'm not from Iowa, so I still have time to make my final decision. But for now, these are my recommendations. #1) Not obama, or any other democrat (they're ALL interchangeable one with another). #2) Not Mitt Romney. #3) Not Ron Paul. So who will I probably vote *FOR*: #4) Rick Perry, #5) Newt Gingrinch. . . . but that's just me.

P.S.: Stupid time magazine. (I wrote them off as a bunch of subversives back in '92. Same with newsweek).
