It has been BtB's "fairness" policy for the last three years to occasionally post newsbits For Birthers Only, ever since ABC's Jake Tapper felt compelled to block so-called "birthers" from his twitter account back in July 2009 -- but really, anyone can read this. We will not be asking to see your birther ID.

The report includes video of Jerome Corsi's interviews with the retired mail carrier, and for those who are thinking, "Why now?" the article contends that the postman's account of meeting Obama "was first reported by Silicon Valley lawyer and political scientist Stephen Diamond in September 2009.

Writing on his blog, Diamond reported that he had interviewed Hulton at length and considered his account credible.

“The statement by Hulton is the first eyewitness account of a possible relationship between Obama and Tom Ayers and the first that dates his relationship with the Ayers family to the mid-1980s,” Diamond wrote.

As early as Oct. 13, 2008, prior to the November 2008 presidential election, Diamond had reported that Obama’s relationship with the Ayers family dated back to 1988.
