Rick 'E.J.' Santorum just blew it

From the Agency of "Are you kidding me?!" in the Department of Infidelity-Of-Sorts:

 

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday said Republicans should give President Barack Obama another term if Santorum isn’t the GOP nominee and for a second day compared rival Mitt Romney to an Etch A Sketch toy....

“You win by giving people a choice,” Santorum said during a campaign stop in Texas. “You win by giving people the opportunity to see a different vision for our country, not someone who’s just going to be a little different than the person in there.”

Santorum added: “If they’re going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk of what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate for the future.”

Wow. Bet all those Santorum supporters are wondering why exactly they didn't give Gingrich a second look.

Will they all go to Romney the Inevitable, or back to Newt? We shall soon see. Louisiana votes tomorrow... in a CLOSED primary; allocation of delegates is proportional. Then Apr. 3rd we have 3 winner-take-all primaries: Maryland, DC and Wisconsin.

Eh, most people are still going to vote for Romney because of "elect-ability" and "inevitability"; Santorum supporters will shake their finger at him and vote for him anyway. Get ready for Etch-a-sketch 2012! Who's it going to be? No one knows!
