Mannie Sherberg
Obama is America's first -- and, let us pray, last -- dhimmi president. He announced his dhimmitude at al-Azhar University in Cairo when, just five months after his inauguration, he made his infamous speech to the Muslim world -- perhaps the only honest speech he has ever delivered -- in which he declared that "I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes about Islam." Since such a thing has never been the responsibility of any American president and isn't even hinted at in the Constitution, this was manifestly Obama's not-so-oblique way of declaring his dhimmitude -- his willingness to do whatever it takes to serve the good of Islam. He is much worse than an anti-Zionist; he is a voluntary, self-proclaimed, shout-it-from-the-rooftops dhimmi. He will continue to squander our tax dollars on Islamic causes until he is driven from office.
