I was all tucked up in bed with my Kindle, contentedly reading a free sample of Steven Hayward's book - The Politically Correct History Guide to the Presidents: From Wilson to Obama - when I came across this line, somewhere in Chapter 1, and just had to get out of bed and turn on the computer again, so I could share it with you.
"We want to be able to look up to our government officials - the president most of all - but we do not want them to look back down upon us."
