Listening to these idiots makes me wonder about the benefits of democracy. Liberals are for the rights of everybody but conservatives aren't? Memo to these clueless dopes - FDR is dead and he was not our friend.

I don't buy Bayevsky's premise that Obama "caved" because he's "weak." I see no evidence of weakness in the guy -- and I think those of us who tell ourselves he is are whistling past the graveyard. If anything, the man is proving to be one of the toughest presidents in recent history: simply by making a few disparaging remarks about the Supreme Court, he intimidated the Chief Justice into legalizing the achievement that he believes will assure his place in history. This guy isn't weak -- he's smart, shrewd, conniving, and -- at the moment -- winning every fight. There's no evidence he "caved" on the UN hearing. He's simply carrying out his program of appeasing the Muslim world -- the same program he announced three years ago in Cairo and has stuck with ever since. He's keeping his promises: he's providing hope and change that's applauded by his real constituencies throughout the Socialist and Muslim worlds. As long as we mistake this man for "weak," we have no chance of defeating him. We'd better recognize him for what he is: a guy who goes for the jugular -- every time. That's what's made him a winner -- and let's not deny that whatever else he is, Obama is a winner.
