Ah ... the apotheosis of Barack Hussein Obama ... the transfiguration of a man into a god. The ancient Romans did a lot of this, but when they did, it usually was because the deified emperor had won a major battle or conquered a major province. The Romans therefore usually placed their memorialized emperor/god in a martial pose atop a horse. No self-respecting Roman would ever have dreamed of apotheosizing an emperor over something as maudlin as a kiss. Not even if it were chocolate-flavored. This is a serious case of what the French call lese majesty -- an offense for which the Romans would have lopped off a few heads. What a bunch of sissies these Chicagoans are.

I find it amusing that the reason this Baskin-Robbins store is still open is because of Mitt Romney's former firm, Bain Capital. Bain purchased the parent company, Dunkin Brands, and installed a new management team that returned the operations to a profitable position, allowing stores like this to remain operational. No Bain = no store, no boulder and no plaque.
