My friend David Gerstman ('Soccer Dad') by way of Carl in Jerusalem:
To [the editors of the New York Times]
the invocation of the Holocaust
is simply a cover for Netanyahu's unbridled aggression.
Read it all and David will catch you up on the latest Jeffrey Goldberg ("Are Jews Who Fear Iran Obsessed with the Holocaust?") and Ron Rosenbaum ("Calling people 'Holocaust-obsessed' is the new holocaust denial") ... and yes, the editorial page of our East Coast fishwrap.
My dear friend Doris Montrose is among those Jews who might be said - in Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany or France - to "still talk too much" about the Holocaust, believing as she does that Never Again Is Now.
Doris founded and runs an organization in Los Angeles called Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and is not exactly what you'd call a whiner. She and her able crew of fellow activists recently sponsored a panel on The Evolution of the Israeli Right: From Jabotinsky to Begin to Netanyahu (starring another dear and mutual friend, Rick Richman, who spoke to one of my favorite subjects: the life and work of Ze'ev Jabotinsky). For all of us who couldn't be there, the full video [1:31:46] is at the link.
Todah to Doris for giving BtB a very nice plug in her introduction, but seriously... How long has it been since this blog was "immensely interesting and entertaining"? I only vaguely remember those days, but I appreciate the encouragement nonetheless.

I assume all that will keep you busy enough for a while, so I'm going to revert to being immensely uninteresting and non-entertaining, and go take a nap. Newt Gingrich is on stage tonight (early), not to mention Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney (late). I'm determined to stay up all the way through, including Cardinal Timothy Dolan's benediction. It's the least I can do.
