I'm not at all sure about the Trojan horse analogy. The Trojans inside that horse were real warriors -- men who know that once they disembarked from the horse they'd be in mortal danger. Mortal -- or any other kind -- of danger is exactly what the Obama administration is trying to avoid. This is the most panty-waisted, poltroonish pusillanimity displayed by any American president in my lifetime -- and that includes the timorous Jimmy Carter, who at least had the courage to try a rescue of the hostages held in Tehran. There will be no red lines or deadlines for Iran before November 6th, lest Obama's re-election be endangered -- and, should Obama win, there will be no red lines or deadlines after November 6th -- because he's a recreant and an appeaser who lives in fear of red lines and deadlines. No doubt the Israelis figured all this out a long time ago.
