"Time for a New Way," a cheer-me-up

.... It is time for a new way, a way in which Muslims will no longer have to learn about America and Americans will no longer have to learn about Islam, where we will give up on winning each other's hearts and minds, and stick to watching each other's property lines. 

... we have borders and nations

for a reason.

 

... if foreign nations and peoples would like to use force to tell us what movies we can make,

then we will use force to tell them what protests they can have,

and ... in a contest of force, we will win.

A sensible suggestion from Daniel Greenfield. Unhappily, "sensible" is not in this administration's vocabulary. "A contest of force" is the last thing in the world Obama wants -- which explains why the administration is tiptoeing and tap-dancing through the tulips in its effort to uphold its story that the killing of four Americans in Benghazi had nothing to do with America and everything to do with "the film." If -- heaven forfend! -- the American people ever get the idea that the jihadi butchers slaughtered four Americans as proxies for all the rest of us -- and would, if they got the chance, joyfully slaughter all the rest of us -- then the American people might demand that we undertake a "contest of force." Can't have that happening in an election year, can we?
