Trump offers Obama a deal he cannot refuse (or will he?)

 

[Donald Trump] said that if Pres. Obama releases his college records and his passport records, then Trump will give a $5 million check to a charity of President Obama’s choice.

   

This could be interesting, but I'm not holding my breath.

Trump may be a humongous egotist, a declasse' publicity-hound, and a shameless headline seeker, but I have to give the guy this: He's one of the few prominent Republicans on the scene today who has an unerring instinct to go for the jugular. His ploy has as much chance of succeeding as my arthritic legs have of winning a marathon, but it's nice to see Obama -- who's chasing around the country these days doing nothing but needle Romney -- get needled himself. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
