The U.S. Treasury's Unbalanced Balance Sheet

As any schoolchild can understand from this graphic, the federal government SPENT -just in the month of November- 334 Billion dollars ... while taking in only $162 billion.

And this happens month after month, year after year.

So... we are BORROWING 51.6 cents of every dollar we spend.

 

This simply cannot go on. We can't afford to sustain 18 federal nutrition programs, much less the "nearly 80 federal welfare programs."  If the U.S. economy does not substantially grow and expand, we're going to hit the wall.
