If there's anything that justifies the invention of television, it's "Justified" -- a truly wonderful show. At the moment, I'm not sure there's very much that justifies a presidential race by any of the potential GOP candidates -- other than the fact that they're not Democrats. But all of them -- Rubio, Paul, Jindal, Ryan, the whole bunch -- have three long years in which to justify themselves. One thing's for sure: We'll never win with any candidate who presents him-or-her self as a liberal's dream. We need a candidate who isn't cowed by liberal pieties -- someone tough enough and smart enough to survive and thrive in Harlan County, Kentucky.

It just slows the rate of growth. Even with the sequester, government will grow over $7 trillion over the next decade. … We will begin to thrive again when we begin to believe in ourselves again, when we regain our respect for our founding documents, when we balance our budget, when we understand that capitalism and free markets and free individuals are what creates our nation’s prosperity."
I tried to link Rand Pauls response, but was having trouble. Go to http://www.fireandreamitchell.com/ to watch video
