It's not all that surprising. Islam holds that Mohammed was a successor to the previous prophets to whom (Mohammed) the ultimate truth was revealed. The real irony is that the Bahai' take this a few steps further believing that the holy men/prophets (Hindu, Zoroatrian etc) of all religions form a tradition of God speaking to people. Of course the Bahai' to Islam is heresy and the basis for their oppression.
