Israel today is at war. Our hearts and minds go out to all the soldiers and civilians who are impacted by todays situation.Even with the unfortunate events regarding the current war, the year anniversary for the destruction of Gush Katif is still upon us and Home Game the movie will still be screened throughout the country.
It is critical that the scenes and messages of Home Game the movie be seen by all and this premier screening event throughout Israel is the beginning of that process.I have been called up myself for reserve duty to join the war effort and after I write this email I will be driving up North to join my unit. If anyone would ask me why this war is happening today I would tell them that it is a direct result of Israel's derelict policies that led to the Oslo accords and the destruction of Gush Katif, but nobody is asking me.
Home Game the movie is not about politics it is about people. In my mind the first step towards Israel improving its security situation is having a true process of unity begin within the different sectors of Am Yisrael. That is what this movie is all about. To all of you who are planning on seeing the movie - thank you, thank you, and thank you again for helping us make this movie a success.
Due to my sudden departure to reserve duty there may be some last minute issues that might not run as smoothly as planned, so please bear with us and have patience. We are trying our best to have all planned screenings take place as smoothly as possible both in Israel and abroad.
