The New York Times sez: "The two leaders ... seemed to speak past each other." Brilliant.
The Times also goes to great lengths to put a Different Face on Islam in America.
And in case you missed it, just yesterday there was a warm 'n fuzzy article about American Muslim families "grappling with an issue [dating and matrimony] on which many prefer not to assimilate."
If this were any other ethnic group, the Times would not be inundating us with these obscure human interest stories on a daily basis. If this were any other ethnic group, the Times would be calling their preference not to assimilate... Discrimination! But the Times is teaching us - by example - about dhimmitude. Muslims are not just another ethnic group; they're special and we need to understand them. This way, we'll be able to feel good when we bow and surrender and put on our burkas.
Oh, and if you're interested in the speech given by our President at the United Nations yesterday, the Times would not satisfy the curiosity of a rock. Read instead James Lewis at The American Thinker.
