and none of our children get their legs blown off.

May this be the year Jews drive down the streets of Jerusalem

Without fear of being crushed by a bulldozer

And we can build homes for ourselves without international condemnation.

This year may our yeshiva students live to learn Torah another day

And may this be the year Jews do not expel other Jews.

May this be the year Jews are allowed to pray at the Temple Mount

And no one urinates on our holy sites.

May this be the year no soldier is blinded by acid thrown in her face.

May this be the year Jews can live in their homeland without fear or prejudice.

May this be the year we Jews are left in peace.
