Here's a new one: "to shower with"

Here's a lovely new euphemism, courtesy of The Earth Times:

"Palestinian militants showered southern Israel with rockets Wednesday...

I've heard of being showered with gifts, with adoration, with love, with congratulations, with honors, showered with flowers, confetti or tickertape. But never kassams. Only in Israel.
