On the 4th Day of Chanukah: Palestinian Attack on Ashkelon

(IsraelNN.com) A Kassam rocket launched by terrorists in the northern part of Hamas-controlled Gaza landed in an open area near the southern industrial zone of Ashkelon Thursday evening.

No injuries or damage were reported.

Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports at Monsters & Critics [?] that four mortars were fired at southern Israel today.

One shell hit a terminal at the Erez Crossing point on Gaza's northern border, just as a group of Palestinian Christians were passing through on their way to join in Christmas festivities in Bethlehem.

There were no injuries, but Israel closed the terminal after the pilgrims and passed through.
