Sorry not to have been blogging much. Mannie pretty much spelled out the biggest and baddest news of the day in his last comment, the substance of which could double as my excuse for recent reticence. There's lots of action locally with some very hot, very important political races ongoing, so I am otherwise occupied... Plus I'm simply too overwhelmed to blog much. You know that cliche about things going to hell "in a handbasket"? I get it now. See Mannie's comment and or the Drudge report, or just about any headlines anywhere for more.
The existence of cliches is actually quite comforting, once you understand them, because it means someone has been down this road before. Or a road quite similar.
There's one bit I cannot ignore, and it's this Washington Times editorial:
Islamic flag over the White House
Terrible to see your worst fears in print, isn't it?
Islamists say the Koran is destined to rule America. In fact, the Muslim takeover of the White House is not just an unfolding action plan but a directive from Muhammad himself.
In an interview Sunday on ABC's "This Week," British radical Muslim activist Anjem Choudary made clear what he and his Islamist brothers have planned for the West. "We do believe, as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Shariah," he said. "Indeed, we believe that one day, the flag of Islam will fly over the White House." He then quoted a hadith, or saying of Muhammad, as related by 10th-century Muslim scholar Al-Tabarani, that "the final hour will not come until Muslims conquer the White House." Another version of the saying goes, "A small portion of Muslims will rise and conquer the White House."
Many Americans believe this conquest is well underway, if not already secretly completed....
We should read it all, but it's hard. I know.
I was going to add a photo here, of the full size replica of the White House on the estate of the Saudi royal family in Marbella Spain, but I forgot... this is not my computer; it's a loaner. That photo's on my computer that crashed.
Bit of a rough spot right now. Hang in there everybody. What is it, 27 days to go? Do everything you can to help the good guys. I hope by now you've figured out who they are:)
