I wish Hillary would spare us the sanctimony, the self-righteousness, and the crocodile tears over "Israel's future." Neither Hillary nor her boss gives a damn about Israel's future; if the state were to vanish tonight, they'd consider its disappearance nothing but a blip on the screen of history. Every statement about Israel from either the president or the secretary of state can be summarized in the words of the Psalmist: "There is no sincerity on their lips; their heart is filled with malice; their throat is an open grave; their tongue is slippery." Israel will find no friends among the slippery-tongued.
Mannie, can you give us the Psalm number or Tehillim chapter?

Yael -- the line can be found in Psalm 5:10. I've used the Jewish Publication Society translation (Tanakh, 1999). The following verse (5:11) gives us this ringing plea: "Condemn them, O God; let them fall by their own devices; cast them out for their many crimes, for they defy You." If there is anything in this world I am certain of, it is this: Sooner or later, the despisers of Israel will "fall by their own devices." That is one of the axioms of my Jewish faith.
