According to FOX News, the protesters are celebrating, screaming
"The people have brought down the regime!"
Peter Wehner has probably flat-out fainted by now. But they're not screaming "Freedom at Last," they're just overjoyed at the fall of Mubarak. And that could be fine, even great. But I have a question: Are we really witnessing democracy? or mob rule?
And is it at all relevant that today marks the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran?
REUTERS - Thousands turned out on Friday to mark the 32nd anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution in a rally the clerical establishment billed as a chance to show solidarity with "Islamic" protesters in Egypt.
BBC: "Iran's revolution began with a popular democracy movement and ended with the establishment of the world's first Islamic state."

Today in Iran
In the weeks and months to come, will the Egyptians want to have conversations about democratic institutions, an independent judiciary and the like? Or will they want to abrogate the peace with Israel and go to war against the Jews?
Much is at stake. For the sake of the security of the Suez Canal - not to mention, the survival of Egypt's next-door neighbors - I sure hope Peter Wehner knows what he's talking about. If it's indeed a bunch of Thomas Paines that Israel will face at the border, there should be no problem.
Brace yourself... any minute now, Obama will be giving another of his Greatest Speeches Ever.
