Missing In Action: Wisconsin's 14 anti-democratic Democrats
Comments
Fox News is reporting that state troopers have been dispatched to search for these rascals, but have been unable to find a single one. I have a feeling the good people of Wisconsin would be better off if these vagrant varmints were never found.
I wish I were kidding about this, but I'm not: In a piece in the New York Times Online, reporter Monica Davey has referred to the missing Wisconsonites as "a sudden Democratic diaspora." Words fail me.
As a Chicago native, I wonder if the missing Wisconsin Democrats went to Chicago to vote in the mayoral election? I am sure ACORN could get them registered in time for the election. Not a joke. The first time I voted in a mayoral election was April 4th, 1967. Richard J Daley won with 74% of the vote. I noted, when voting, that my father had voted before me, although I was at the polling place early. I was not surprised, even though my father had died in 1963. Of course, at that time, Chicago was not a sanctuary city for dissident Wisconsin Democrats, so the posthumous vote was needed.
