Tom Glennon
In the last 2 weeks, Obama has compared himself to Reagan, Lincoln, Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Allow me to make one comparison. Dr. King had a dream, which he articulated in dramatic form. He identified it, illustrated it, defined when we would recognize it had been achieved, and expressed confidence that it would come to fruition. Obama has a plan. It is a secret. He needs a vacation before he tells us about it. He is worried we will not understand it. If we don't act on it, we will be enemies who must be punished. And it is all the fault of the Republicans, or the Tea Party, or the Japanese earthquake. I am ready to move to the back of the bus with the rest of the bitter clingers.
