Mannie Sherberg
This is what bureaucracies do (and there's never been a more bureaucratic bureaucracy than that bunch of technocrats and functionaries that calls itself the European Union) when they haven't the foggiest idea how to solve their own problems: they stick their noses in other people's business and deflect (or try to deflect) attention from their own ineffectiveness. The whole idea of the EU advising Israel on anything is grotesque. While the EU's "diplomats" (their word for bumbling busybodies) sit helplessly by, the continent they represent is morphing into Eurabia -- and it's a safe bet that 25 years from now, the EU -- if there is an EU -- will be made up of mostly Muslim delegates, and Brussels will look more like Cairo than like a traditional European city. The EU can be accurately described in just three words: toothless, fruitless, and bootless.
The EU should ask Israel for advice on how to deal with Muslims, not the other way around.
