Tom Hanks movingly narrates:
Not since the days of Franklin Roosevelt
had so much fallen on the shoulders
of one president."
And we remember VDH @ Nov. 4, 2009:
.... Imagine had a Harry Truman every day lamented, “Damn that FDR — he left me with WWII, the bomb decision, a traitorous Stalin, a Europe to be rebuilt, a Korean powder keg, a worldwide communist ascendancy, Greece and Turkey about lost, and colossal debts — and I’ve got to hit the reset button on him every day” ....
My second-favorite quote from Chutzpah The Movie comes soon after. Tom Hanks:
And when he faced his country,
who looked to him for answers,
he would not dwell in blame . . ."
And we remember Rush @ August 2011.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Yeah, I'm gonna read the rest of the Obama blames. By the way, folks, do a Google search on it. "Obama blames" as a Google search term returns more than 490,000 hits. "Obama blames," no quotes -- just "Obama blames" -- returns 6,920,000 results on Google. Obama blames, Obama blames...everybody but himself. Obama is a man-child; immature, over his head, out of his league, unqualified.
Two months later, lo and behold... the HuffPo
Meanwhile, I just now googled "Obama blames" [with no quote marks] and the number of results has risen from not quite 7 million just six months ago, to over 20 million now. That's impressive.
What comes to mind is the saying, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." It's one of those weird, random memory bits from my Christian upbringing that pop into my head from time to time. I guess the rewrite I'm thinking of is, "Sufficient unto the day are the lies thereof." But the original works just as well.
