Perhaps Mr. Panetta read the Department of Homeland Security Memo that listed returning veterans as potential domestic threats. Just following the Commander in Chief when he said, “You can't help but be proud of them generally.” Generally? I guess he is only sorta, kinda, sometimes proud.

The whole thing is nuts. If you accept the premise that Government is their god -- http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2012/03/government-is-their-god.html -- then of course they would turn everything else upside down and inside out as well. That's the only logic to it that I can imagine.
