As soon as I can find the text, I'd like to post an excerpt from President Bush's speech at the dedication of his presidential library in Dallas this morning. The portion toward the end - when he spoke with great fervor about the cause of freedom - was very moving. And when he said that "It was the honor of a lifetime to lead a country as brave and as noble as the United States," he got what is known in Yiddish as farklempt - too emotional to talk, ready to cry.
Me, I cried like a baby. For "the way we were."
