Comparing Obama to Chamberlain is unfair to Chamberlain. History clearly shows that Chamberlain was a good and decent man who made a monumental mistake while believing he was doing a good thing for his country and the world at large. He was naive, maybe even stupid, but certainly not malicious. Obama is a malicious man who cares nothing about his country or the world at large -- but everything about himself. This treaty was agreed to for political -- and only poltical -- reasons: to get Obamacare off the front pages for a few days and to enable him to go on TV and bask in a moment of "triumph." What Chamberlain foolishly did he did with the best of intentions -- and he did it to protect Britain. What Obama has done he has done for himself and his "legacy." Let's not equate this vainglorious and self-infatuated little man with the honorable -- but tragic -- Neville Chamberlain.
