55 pct Disapprove, 43 pct Strongly So

 

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance.

Fifty-five percent (55%) disapprove...

The latest figures include 23% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. 

 

At Real Clear Politics, 52 pct disapprove of Obama's handling of foreign policy and 58.9 pct disapprove of his handling of the economy.

On average, 66 pct think the country is on the wrong track.

When Strongly Disapprove exceeds total Approve, and is heading up almost literally off the chart, it means the electorate is pretty angry. On the other hand, ratings in Tehran are way up.

Welcome back, Yael! On the subject of Obama's ratings, let me say that this morning I disapprove of his job performance even more than usual. I find it hard to believe he has ordered all American flags flown at half-staff today in honor of Nelson Mandela -- a man who strenuously defended such despotic thugs as Arafat, Castro, and Khadaffi -- while he never ordered a similar honor on behalf of one of our era's key defenders of freedom: the late and sorely missed Margaret Thatcher. This is both creepy and disgusting.
