Well, I guess the next request for money from the poorpalestianians will be to fund English education so that teens don't wear offensive tee shirts. I noticed, however, that they forgot to include Micky Mouse. I sure am glad that Israel's peace partner is "moderate". Hard to imagine how things might be if they were radical.

JERUSALEM – An official website of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud
Abbas' Fatah organization has compared Christians and Jews to "whores,"
"prostitutes," "pigs," "hussies" and "Madonna," warning against the use of those
words on clothing material, WND has learned.
The site, Fatehforum.ps, posted a memo
and sent out a mass e-mail to Palestinians warning them against purchasing
T-shirts that contain certain "offensive" English words emblazoned on them,
citing what it said was a worrying phenomenon of Palestinians who do not know
English but are wearing T-shirts without realizing what phrases are printed on
the clothing.
Beneath a picture of late PLO Leader Yasser Arafat, the Fatah website lists
some of the "offensive" words on T-shirts Palestinians are warned to stay away
from, including:
- Christianity
- I'm Christian
- Church
- Christmas
- Chorus Girl
- Jew
- Bible
- Pig
- Take me
- Vixen
- Nude
- Buy me
- Whore
- Pork
- Hussy
- Madonna
- Adulterer
U.S. and Israeli policy considers Fatah to be moderate, even though the
organization's state-run media regularly broadcasts anti-Israel propaganda and
incitement against Jews and the West. =Israel and the PA are widely expected to
conclude agreements initiated at last November's U.S.-backed Annapolis summit,
which seeks to create a Palestinian state by the end of the year.
Abbas is scheduled to meet next week with outgoing Israeli Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert to advance talks as Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who won her
party's primaries last month, attempts to put together a stable coalition that
could see her take Olmert's place within two weeks.
Livni was Olmert's chief negotiator with the Palestinians and supports
Olmert's offers to the PA. In an interview last month, Olmert said Israel should
withdraw from nearly all territory it captured in the 1967 Six Day War,
referring to eastern Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Security analysts here warn any Israeli retreat from the West Bank could
result in Hamas seizing the strategic territory just as the terror group took
over the Gaza Strip, which Israel evacuated in 2005.
